   In the name of God Amen.  The thirtieth day of October 1675,   I William Crouch of Ann Arundel River in the Province of Maryland being sick weake in body but of sound perfect memory praise be given to god for the same. Knowing the uncertainty of this life on earth, being desirous to settle things in order doe make this my last will and testament in manner form following, that is to say forth principally I commend my soule to Almighty God my Creator assuredly believing that I shall reseave pardon & remission of all my sins & be saved by the precious death and merits of my blessed saviour & redeemer of Jesus Christ. And my body to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried in fine decent and christian manner as to my executors hereafter named shall be thought meete and convenient. And touching such worldly estate as the Lord in mercy hath lent me my will & meaning is the same shall be employed & be found as hereafter by this my will is expressed.
Item -   I give and bequeath unto my son John Crouch & his heirs forever a parcel of land called Coventry lying on the east side of Cheseapeake Bay together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging containing by estimation one hundred acres.
Item -   I give and bequeath unto my son John Crouch & my son James Crouch & their heirs forever a parcel of land called Hilsdon with the appurtenances thereunto belonging containing by estimation two hundred acres. I give to each of them one hundred acres, only my will is that my son John shall have his choice.
Item -   I give and bequeath unto my son Josias & his heirs forever a parcel of land called Crouches Choice lying in Talbot County at the mouth of the Wye River together with the appurtanences containing by estimation one hundred fifty acres.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Jones the wife of Thomas Jones & her heirs forever a parcel of land called Crouches Calf Pasture together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging containing by estimation thirty acres, but not to follow the line to the southward over the branch where James Smith & John Howard killed the lyon.
Item -   I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Crouch & her heirs forever a parcel of land called Crouches Triangle Addition together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging containing by estimation forty acres.
Item -   I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Crouch & his heirs forever a parcel of land called Crouches Little Neck Southfield together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging containing by estimation fifty acres.
Item -   I give & bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca & her heirs forever a parcel of land called the Mill Damm being the remainder of a parcel I sold unto my couzen James Smith.
Item -   I give and bequeath my buff coate unto my son Josias Crouch.
Item -   I give and bequeath my wives cabinet & serge gown unto my daughter Rebecca.
Item -   I give my two guns that are out upon service unto my son James Crouch.
Item -   I give & bequeath all my cattle and household goods unto my son Joseph & daughter Rebecca equally to be divided between them excepting one 3 year old heifer called bright which I give unto my daugher Sarah.
Item -   I give and bequeath unto my son James a waste coate & pair of breeches which I had of Simon Herring.
Item -   I give unto my son James Crouch my silver dram cup.
Item -   I give unto John Andrew my silver & gold spoons.
   And further I doe hereby make my son James Crouch sole executor of this my last will and testament and desire my loving friends John Howard & John Hammon to be overseers to see this my last will and testament fullfilled. In testimony whereof  I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year first above written.
   Before signing of  the same this addition is added hereunto all my horseflesh males & female I doe likewise give and bequeath to my son Jospeh & my daughter Rebecca only a young gelt nagg I bequeath to my son James my executor aforesaid in testament of this same I have hereunto set my hand & seale according to the tenour of the same afore expressed.
